What is technical diving?

Technical diving is such diving that exceeds the limits of recreational diving. Generally speaking, it is diving where the diver does not have direct access to the surface, either because of decompression procedures or because of diving in an overhead environment that exceeds the requirements of recreational diving. Also diving with more than one gas, using specific tech equipment.
