Agios Nikolaos/Ormos Panagias
The Hedland divides the two bays between Ormos Panagias and Agios Nikolaos and a beautiful sandy beach with astonishing colors in the sunlight. There is an archaeological place from ancient Greece and Byzantium ages till the Ottomans. Is known as “The summer house of Aristotelus”. The good news is that you can see a complete part of a real ancient Greek column, just at 4-5m depth. The water is shallow, and calm, with sandy bottom around the rocks. There is a very nice shallow underwater rock formation with some octopuses and a school of small fish. Normally we make one long dive there. Depth- 3-12/21 m.(for the longest dive trip). The place can be temporarily closed by the Port Police, because of archeological research.

Many archeologists support that the area of Kastri cape was the location of the ancient city of Galipsos which is referred to in Herodotus.
